This weekend BOWER attended Victoria’s Promise Annual Gala and it was a privilege to be able to support such a wonderful charity and group of people. We’re really grateful for all of our friends and clients for joining us and helping to make the evening a success and have lots of fun in the process.
Victoria’s Promise provides support to women with cancer and assists them with finding ways to continue to invest in their health and well-being during their treatments.
It’s really tough to relate to the magnitude of the impact a cancer diagnosis can have until it happens to you. But many, many families are living with it, every day. It has become part of their lives and if not quite ‘normal’ then certainly routine and integrated with the family. And that’s why the little things matter so much, enabling you to feel good about yourself, finding a new normal – just for the time-being. Hearing about the huge impact that Victoria’s Promise has on so many women’s lives first-hand on Saturday was so inspirational, and we are blown away with the work that this wonderful charity does.
The evening consisted of a well-balanced mix of frivolities, fundraising and fine dining, including a 3-course meal by celebrity chef and MasterChef finalist Jackie Kearny, well known for her plant-based concoctions.
Saturday evening was a great opportunity for us and our guests to reflect on the life-changing impact of cancer and hear first-hand from those that Victoria’s Promise have helped along the way. Victoria’s family have done her proud.
Victoria’s Promise really understands the impact of the little things, even in the overwhelming face of greater challenges. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with VP in the future.
The night was a huge success and raised a grand total of £69,114.
