The Company

Our client provides project management services for home refurbishments and for the last 5 years they have worked on impressive projects of all sizes, mainly throughout London and the Home Counties. As the success of the business continues to grow and grow, the Founder is seeking a conscientious assistant with a proactive and can-do attitude to instigate continuity, efficiency and process. The role has exciting scope and is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and understanding, as well as experience in a client-facing capacity; it requires somebody who is happy to work remotely whilst also attending business meetings with the Founder, mostly in London and the Home Counties.

Job Type: Temp to Perm



  • Cover all normal EA duties, including correspondence and email management, performed seamlessly and to a high standard
  • Accompany the Founder to all business and client meetings, producing comprehensive meeting notes and distributing in a timely manner
  • Follow up on meeting action points to pull together required information and tasks
  • Provide strong support and collaboration with the Founder to ensure his daily, weekly and longer-term goals are met and serviced
  • Maintain a good understanding of the business and all existing projects to ensure that you are proactively supporting and pre-empting needs
  • High standard of relationship management across the business, clients, suppliers and contractors
  • Specific attention to detail and accuracy as well as having a high-level view on everything to enable you to pick up on nuances
  • Strong tech-fluency and the ability to find efficient solutions
  • Perform research and collate information
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude
  • Ability to grasp the urgency of situations naturally, to prioritise and behave proactively
  • Remain agile and flexible to change, and react swiftly and professionally
  • Make considered efficiency and workflow suggestions and improvements.



Qualifications and Experience:

  • A driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Prior experience in a similar position
  • Tech-savvy
  • An eye for detail and strong follow through
  • Strong organisational skills and a confident manner
  • Versatile and flexible, with the ability to work independently
  • Professional attitude and demeanour
  • Ability to set priorities independently and be proactive, with lots of motivation
  • Ability to handle intense workloads and have processes in place to manage them
  • Needs to thrive in an environment of autonomy
  • Calm, straight-forward and diligent.
