The Company

Our client, a marketing & PR consultancy, are seeking to hire a HR Assistant to provide support to the Director of Operations and HR Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the HR department, focusing on recruitment of new talent and employees’ performance and development.

Responsibilities & Requirements

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Recruitment

  • Managing recruitment enquiries, responding to all speculative applications and recruitment agencies as appropriate and passing CV’s on for further consideration
  • Scheduling job interviews across various time zones and assisting in the interview process
  • Assisting the HR Manager and Hiring Managers in producing job descriptions and assessment frameworks for relevant roles
  • Managing the recruitment database by logging all recruitment and candidate’s activity

Training and Development

  • Providing administrative support to help facilitate the internal and external training and development programme across the company
  • Managing the company training and development records
  • Organising and booking training sessions as required

Performance reviews

  • Working closely with the HR Manager and Line Managers to ensure that performance reviews are conducted in line with the company procedure and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for gathering and storing performance review related documentation for all employees

General

  • Responding to ad-hoc HR queries as required
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the senior management across the company
  • Maintaining employee confidence by keeping human resource information confidential

 

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should have:

  • Proven 2-3 years of experience as a HR Assistant or relevant Human Resources/Administrative position
  • Experience in assisting in the coordination of the recruitment process
  • Experience in dealing with confidential information
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in using HR software (Bamboo HR, desirable)
  • Degree in Human Resources or CIPD Level 3 qualifications minimum
  • Ability to manage own workload, handle constantly changing priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills
  • Resilience and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
