Our client runs one of the largest venture capital funds in Europe. In their team, you’ll find a diverse group of passionate doers investing in stellar entrepreneurs building world-class tech companies.

 

This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an enthusiastic PA to join their entrepreneurial team based in the heart of Soho.

 

The role is extremely varied – you will need to provide flawless support to a team of busy senior partners, both in London and remotely in their other offices, as well as supporting the wider team when necessary. You will be the face of the company whilst ensuring the office runs smoothly. An interest in marketing would be a bonus, as the role also involves delivering their busy programme of events each year.

Responsibilities & Requirements

This role would suit someone who is a real people person, thrives in ambiguity, and gets stuff done. With around 2 years’ experience within an office support role, you must be able to hit the ground running.

 

You will be highly organised, proactive with a natural ability juggling multiple tasks, and want to develop your business skills within team support.

 

Responsibilities:

 

      Team Assistant

  • Diary management/scheduling meetings for their senior partnership and wider team when required

  • Proactive travel booking for partners, and managing busy travel schedules

  • Preparing expense reports for partners

  • Helping to schedule and manage all team-wide meetings and off-sites

  • Helping with general enquires from all offices

  • Cover for team and office assistant’s EA duties when required

     

     

    Office Management

  • Working with their junior assistant to ensure all guests are welcomed into the office, preparing coffee and making them feel at home.

  • Overseeing a busy meeting room schedule and helping to prepare/clear rooms for meetings when required.

  • Overseeing supplier relationships: cleaning, plants, coffee, stationery and other office supplies, alarm system, general facilities management, ensuring stock is ordered and issues are dealt with quickly.

  • Working with their building management company to rectify any office issues in a timely manner.

  • Overseeing the ordering of catering for team meetings.

     

     

    Marketing & Events Assistant

  • Working closely with their Head of Marketing to deliver the marketing programme.

  • Arranging external events: from venue sourcing, to invitations and promotion, communications & logistics.

  • Arranging and managing internal team events.

  • Supporting the development of their digital channels

  • Tracking contacts and relationships and managing the database of key contacts

 

Requirements:

 

  • Detail-focused and proactive

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • An interest in startups

  • Exceptionally organised

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Mac, GSuite

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Around 2 years’ experience within an office support role
