Our client who is a boutique investment management firm in London City, is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to support a busy COO. The successful candidate will have experience in the financial services industry, high attention to detail, be resilient and a strong team player.

 

The company employs a multi-strategy framework encompassing fundamental, relative value and systematic analysis to construct an innovative and diversified portfolio. The firm leverages proprietary technology systems, advanced trade screening processes and a disciplined risk management framework to express its views using variety of financial instruments. The firm currently operates in two offices in the UK in London and Cambridge with expansion to Milan and New York in late 2021.

 

Location: London – office based

Working hours 08:30-17:30

Responsibilities:

Primary Personal Assistant Duties for Milan based COO:

  • Complex diary management – in depth understanding and attention to detail required for varying time zones. Liaison with senior external parties to arrange meetings
  • Travel bookings
  • Limited personal support
  • Availability out of hours for diary schedule changes

Secondary Personal Assistant Duties for London based Equities COO, Head of Compliance and General Counsel:

  • Diary management including liaison with staff and senior external parties
  • Travel bookings
  • Ad-hoc administrative items and project work

Administrative Support for Legal Department:

  • Supporting Legal department with filing, ad hoc administrative items and project work

 

Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years PA experience at senior level
  • Ability to work with strong personalities at senior level
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of and adherence to confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong team player
  • Adaptable and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and think on your feet in stressful situations
