The Company

Our client, located in Stockholm, Sweden, is at the intersection of technology investing and improving the world, and are building one of the most ambitious newly started foundations in Europe. They are a top tier venture capital firm and are seeking an exceptional English and Swedish speaking Chief of Staff to serve as the central hub in their family office and all of the activities it is engaged in. The role is incredibly varied and will require a candidate who is highly competent. You’ll also cover Executive Assistant duties, providing business and personal support, to a General Partner in the firm and his wife who have recently set up a Foundation focused on advancing the state of mental health and fighting for diversity and inclusion.


This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment close to one of Europe’s premier venture capital firms and at the same time build a family office and Foundation from the ground up to be a strong force for good.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing network, calendars, travel, email management and formal reporting
  • Helping prioritisation between a huge number of opportunities and competing requests
  • Attending internal and external meetings with for profit and social entrepreneurs, company boards and investors
  • Preparing materials for meetings, writing analyses and doing research
  • Building the administrative infrastructure for the family office and the Foundation
  • Managing communication and networking opportunities with media, entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, the non-profit sector experts and government bodies
  • Helping to review new opportunities for the foundation and the family office
  • Some travel will be involved as the organisation and Partner require


Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in a demanding environment such as a law firm, audit firm, management consultancy, media/PR agency or similar is advantageous
  • A documented interest in real impact on what the world needs to be a better place
  • A real passion for the subjects and the skills to get the job done
  • Organised, with attention to detail and a strong analytical mind
  • Solid communication skills
  • Native-level English and Swedish language speaker/writer
  • A strong commitment to getting things done
  • Fully literate with state-of-the-art administrative and communication tools at work
  • Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities, self-management, a fast pace and plenty of headroom to grow personally and professionally
