About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced recruiter and resourcer to help build their team. You will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and HR team to source, qualify, and manage the interview processes of top games industry talent for a wide variety of roles. This role would suit a recruiter who is unusually intelligent and empathic, and who can internalise their company culture, and find people that connect with it.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify candidates from a wide range of sources, contact and qualify them, then manage their progress through the recruitment process
  • Test new candidate sources and sourcing methods
  • Help boost candidate diversity and inclusion and develop best practices for achieving that
  • Work with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, manage candidate processes and feedback and understand the roles
  • Attend recruitment events to speak with candidates and promote the client as an employer
  • Enter candidate data into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Manage external recruitment agency resources on roles
  • Regularly report role progress and challenges to the Director of Talent Acquisition

 

Requirements:

  • 6 months+ experience in gaming recruitment or highly successful experience in another recruitment sector working with high-quality candidates and processes
  • Excellent people skills – you must be able to engage and motivate candidates, help them understand how exciting the opportunities and company are and support their individual needs in a personal and detailed manner. The ability to understand people’s needs and motivations, and how that impacts their fit for the role is important
  • Fast-paced, focused work ethic – the client has a small team and a lot of work to do. You will need to take ownership of the roles you work on, learn them inside and out and find the very best people for them
  • Self-directed learner – you must be intelligent and interested in continually improving your approach to recruitment and your role
  • Excellent English language skills are required, with good grammar and attention to detail
